The “I WILL” Issue

USE YOUR RAGE

#1 DONATE

To The Arc of Massachusetts or your state’s Arc Chapter. The Arc chapters are key to the legislative advocacy that your community and your loved ones need.  Be sure to stay connected with The Arc of The US and with your local legislators to let them know what is important to you!

#2 STAY INFORMED

Sign up for Cheryl’s newsletter. She’s a community builder working toward bringing people together. Cheryl is preparing the launch of a new initiative to introduce legislation to create a Federal Abuse Registry.  Join the fight!

#3 CONNECT (and inspire!)

Host a screening of “HOAP: Heroes of Adult Protection,” the first documentary series about individuals who overcome the odds to save vulnerable adults from abuse, produced by The Clowder Group. Cheryl and others tell their emotional stories of abuse and how their loved ones and families have been impacted.

Become a member of NAPSA, The National Adult Protective Services Association.  NAPSA’s mission is to strengthen the capacity of APS at the national, state, and local levels, to recognize, report, and respond to the needs of elders and adults with disabilities who are the victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and to effectively and efficiently prevent such abuse whenever possible.

BE A LIGHT
